Windows XPE Bits.

New (old) stuff 20140124 - WES2009

This is the nvidia 258 driver used with the 8400gs. I have not used this in over 3 years so I cannot guarantee that it works. It was used with the ECS machine below.

Nvidia 258: nvidia.zip (88914269 bytes)
componentised 258.

New stuff 20100503 - WES2009

I had to upgrade from XP Embedded to WES2009 for $client. This time the box is an industrial 4 series board with dual ether and a radeon.

Intel Chipset: Intel.zip (859632 bytes)
Downloaded mid march, this includes the f6floppy so I can boot AHCI.

Stuff 20090618

Intel IEGD driver example, GM45 US15

Using IEGD 10.0.GOLD 1351, downloaded on 2009-06-17.

iegd.sld
9428295 bytes.

This is a work in progress, but at least I don't get a yellow bling on device 1 any more. I only did a few parts of the driver, but it is easy enough to make the rest if there is any interest.

This was done for a NEXCOM NDIS 163 fanless box we are considering using for locations where dust ingestion is a problem. (eg: bus stations, train stations, etc.) So far I rather like it.

Some stuff used/created when working with XPE. I am not sure of the legitimacy of distributing what is basically a nobbled version of $maker's driver file. They probably don't like it.

Hardware used for this: ECS nasty 945GCT-M (v1.0) board, it has realtek ethernet, realtek sound, fanless geforce 8400gs

There are about 300 boxes in the field using these, and another 40 ready to deploy. So yes, they do work for my situation.

Note: This has not been updated much. The new hardware uses G31/ICH7 and will switch to gf9400.

vx6000sld.zip
2297929 bytes.

This is a no thrills snarf from the livecam 2.04 monster. (Includes microphone). Copyright of the gubbins belongs to microsoft, why their cam doesn't just work like the logitech one is a mystery.

kb888111.zip
14382777 bytes.

This contains a realtek driver for most realtek junk and the UAA driver. All files included. This driver inf has been nobbled associate with pretty much anything VEN_10EC, but was originally for the DEV_0882 and friends. Copyright of the gubbins probably belongs to realtek for most of it and Microsoft for the UAA.

ftdi.zip
388355 bytes.

For both the 232 and 2232, both kinds of drivers here. Copyright of the gubbins belongs to FTDI.

pl2303.zip
884284 bytes.

This one recognises a few manufacturer's bastardisations of the prolific 2303.

Gubbins copyright probably prolific.

nvidia
postinstall using the sean liming special. I also made a 178.24, but nvcolor.exe goes bang on this, not solved that yet.

FTDI versus Prolific.

If you can, go with FTDI, their driver sticks the device to the com port, so you can move it around the usb connectors and it keeps the same name. The Prolific one doesn't do this. Resulting in it allocating any number of com ports.
